AMA Laguna Seca

A very good ending for a troubled day!

Neil Hodgson third place is a great achievement. I’m really happy for Neil who suffered through the AMA Championship with the 999 handicapped by the unfair regulations.

It’s a bitterly needed succcess for Ducati in the US, and Ducati should ge grateful to have such a loyal and reliable fighter in Hodgson. I hope, this result answers part of the question for the riders setup next season. Please keep him and add a young talent to him, so that he may pass his experience to him.

Continue this good work at AMA.

Total disater in every Ducati racing weekend, one if not the worst in history of Ducati
MotoGP-Not in the running
SBK - Total disater both races
BSB-Loss of the lead in the Championship
AMA - Never looked any good all season really

Hopefully the playing field has been made a little more level with the approval of traction control by the AMA! Looking forward to Mid-Ohio and hopefully even better results for Ducati and us Ducati enthusiast owners!

Neil is still tops and much appreciated. It’s about time the AMA does something right in allowing TC. Ben will start putting it on the podium also!

Ducati 999. There is no question that the latest 999 is a fantastic machine to ride. However, what lets this bike down is the build quality and attention to detail and paint work by the manufacturer. I do speak from experience having owned a 2005 999 and certainly can vouch for the bikes performance, but sadly the build quality is not what you would expect from such a manufacturer as Ducati. Hence my decission to leave the brand and purchase an MV Agusta F41000. Ducati really need to take onboard these comments and certainly look at MV for the quality of build. Ducati is a fantastic brand, lets hope the 999 replacement puts Ducati back on track!!!!

Talking about rumours, there is another one I hear more and more often about the potentiail disappearing of the Sport Touring Models in a near future … Is it another bullshit, or are they serious reasons to be afraid for the future of this category ?

I just wish Ducati luck in their efforts in the displacement rule change battle. I hope with this new bike announcement in November and the rule changes that you really take advantage of these and make serious step towards the future of Ducati. Love the bike love the company, however, I do have my worries. Best of luck, it is my wish to see you guys out on top again.

I know that the race for the top speed kind of went dead after the boosa came into the market, but I think you guys should go after it again.
